The Job At-A-Glance:
Q2 is seeking an Implementation Engineer responsible for implementing Q2’s Risk & Fraud Management Software Solutions that meet the business requirements of our customers. You will be exposed to a highly configurable product on multiple platforms, engineered uniquely for each customer. This role may interface directly with clients to manage questions and issues during a project and works closely with internal project teams to complete tasks and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
Must be exceptionally detail-oriented, process driven and an energetic self-starter who can work independently and in a group setting.
A Typical Day:
Owns configurations and tasks to carry out client implementations with varying system requirements
Fosters a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and high performance within the team
Partners with Product and Development teams for support on technical and/or complex issues that arise in implementation projects to ensure client satisfaction and on-time project delivery
Problem-solves routine-to-complex issues
Establishes strong working and strategic relationships to socialize initiatives and get buy-in across functions
Tracks status and provides ongoing updates to internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of progress, pending work, and blockers
Partners with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and modify the configuration to align with expectations
Embraces change, seeks out new initiatives and provides ideas and recommendations to better serve our clients and make our processes more efficient
Develops a firm understanding of Q2's Risk & Fraud Management Software Solutions and the common use-cases of our customer base
Bring Your Passion, Do What You Love. Here’s What We’re Looking For:
Typically, requires a Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
Typically requires 2+ years of related work experience
Attention to detail, exceptional follow-through, the ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Requires some MS SQL skills: an understanding of DB Design and TSQL query language as related to Enterprise software configuration, installation and debugging
Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic and analytical skills for problem solving
Operation System, Hardware configuration and Network troubleshooting skills
Configuration and deployment experience with Web Services
Excellent people and teamwork skills with a drive for ownership of activities with a focus on successful completion
Strong written and oral communication skills including communication of technical concepts to non-technical individuals
Preferred experience with the following:
Cloud migrations
VMware, BitBucket, Jira, Confluence, and Salesforce
Linux/UNIX Systems Administration
SaaS or Financial Services industries
Functional operations of server, storage, and network functions
This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
