As an Associate Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist for the Navigation, Targeting and Survivability you will further the success of our programs to help Northrop Grumman leave the boundaries of what's known and solve tomorrow's problems. The Associate Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and executing a mixed portfolio of subcontracts
  • Managing performance of subcontracts, ensures compliance with all public law requirements as well as company (and business) policies and procedures including import/export regulations.
  • Identifying strategies and opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency and manage risk through strategic and targeted negotiations.
  • Understanding the buyer and seller’s roles to establish mutually successful business arrangements
  • Specifying solicitations and bid packages
  • Evaluating proposals and negotiating prices/terms
  • Developing and administrating contractual documentation and post awards
  • Leveraging your skill and talents throughout this role

In this role you will make sound decisions in a timely manner, display strong interpersonal skills, and have an agile perspective of compliance protocol mandated by regulated industry.

Basic Qualifications Include the Below: A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source must meet ALL the below criteria.

Basic Qualifications for Level 1:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited institution
  • 1+ years of professional experience in supply chain management, or related fields, to include logistics, manufacturing/ project management, business management, or information systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and self-sufficient time management skills
  • Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking and innovative behaviors in past projects, roles, or experiences.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

Preferred Qualifications for Level 1:

  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills as well as the ability to multi-task in a challenging environment.
  • Professional experience in a regulated industry; to include Aerospace & Defense, Insurance, Financial Services, Telecommunications
  • SAP experience
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFAR

Salary Range: $56,900.00 - $85,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
