Summary:
An experienced Android Developer with strong expertise in modern Android application development. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications in Kotlin.

As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure project milestones are met, facilitating discussions to address challenges, and guiding your team through the development process while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. You will also engage in strategic planning and decision-making to enhance application performance and user experience, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within your team.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and experience with In-Vehicle Infotainment.
- Implement MVVM architecture for scalable and maintainable codebases.
- Apply Observer Pattern for efficient data updates and UI synchronization.
- Ensure responsive design to support a wide range of device sizes and screen resolutions.
- Integrate multi-language support to cater to a global audience.
- Develop and maintain deep linking to improve user navigation and engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features.
- Conduct unit-testing to ensure robust and reliable code.
- Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDK.
- Hands-on experience with MVVM architecture.
- Solid understanding of the Observer Pattern and its practical implementation in Android.
- Experience with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow for asynchronous programming.
- Experience with responsive UI design and material design principles.
- Knowledge of multi-language support in Android apps.
- Familiarity with deep linking implementation.
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with mobile applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of Jetpack components (e.g., LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, Room etc.)
- Exposure to Google Play Store deployment processes.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Android Application Development.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
