 Corewell Health Medical Group is seeking a BE/BC Otolaryngology physician to join a collegial practice with a dedicated group of 8 physicians, 10 APP’s and 10 audiologists.  This is a well-established tertiary/quaternary care health system with ENT divisions including fellowship trained Head & Neck Surgeons and Complex Pediatric ENT.

80% outpatient, 20% inpatient

Weekday call (on own patients) / Weekend call is 1:10 / ER call is 1:14

Qualifications

BE/BC physician in General ENT

MI license

Interest in Otology preferred, but not mandatory  

Essential Functions

Assesses and monitors the medical needs of patients/significant others.

Provides quality medical services to patients in a cost effective, appropriate manner and ensures coverage of case load at all times.

Provides input into the development of policies and procedures as they related to medical practice and quality patient care.

Provides oversight of Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners and others providing delegated services to patients.

Evaluates patients'/significant others'/staff educational needs and develops and implements appropriate teaching strategies or delegates to appropriate resources.

Documents in a manner consistent with regulatory standards.

Communicates with other members of the health care team in order to ensure continuity of care and coordination of services. Acts as a patient/family advocate.

Participates in ongoing process improvement activities through the development/application of clinical paths, process improvement and other related activities.

Required Bachelor's Degree

LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or

LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required

CRT-DEA Registration - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required

CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required Or

CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 120 Days required

CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association If required by specialty or stress test performed 120 Days required
