Job Summary:
Production & Logistics Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Project manage tours and Promoter Representative contractors on a project by project basis
- Assist in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of all production for Live Nation Australasia shows and those of our associates where requested.
- Assist in general day to day requests from internal stakeholders on technical production and touring elements.
- Review and prepare production budgets and proposed routings as requested and give prompt feedback on these to the relevant stakeholders.
- Oversee budgets and spending on Live Nation tours/projects throughout the advance and settlement periods and report back to Promoters and internal Live Nation departments as required.
- Identify production saving opportunities to optimise tour spending.
- Maintain key production stakeholder relationships.
- Keep current lists of relevant suppliers and their equipment lists, costs and insurances.
- Advance and support Promoter Representatives on technical and logistical planning where required.
- Train and maintain knowledge base amongst Promoter Representatives on Live Nation policies and processes to ensure safe delivery of shows.
- Coordinate special projects alongside touring, festivals teams and event producers as required.
- Work within and champion internal systems and processes.
- Responsible for map updates as required.
- Coordinate and record post tour debrief.
- Maintain departmental admin to keep reference and database information up to date.
- Work with other departments to identify and create ‘efficiencies’ with sharing information.
- Consult with other departments to ensure risk management processes are followed.
The inherent requirements of this role require a flexible schedule that includes evening and weekend work from time to time. May include travel.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in a live music or touring environment
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience using Master Tour would be a bonus but not necessary.
- You may be currently working as a Lighting Technician or an Audio Technician for example.
- You MUST have experience in the industry as this is not an entry level role.
- Highly organisation and strong attention to detail
