Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer with over 10 years of professional experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks, along with hands-on experience in cloud platforms like AWS, messaging systems such as IBM MQ, and event-driven architectures using Kafka.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance Java-based applications.
• Implement and manage microservices architecture using Spring Boot.
• Develop and integrate solutions with messaging systems like IBM MQ and Kafka for asynchronous communication.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Work on cloud-based solutions, leveraging AWS services such as S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS, and others.
• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
• Maintain awareness of system health through dashboards and alerts.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production and non-production environments.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide timely support for critical issues outside regular business hours, ensuring system reliability and customer satisfaction.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architectural decisions.
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and quality standards.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong understanding of core Java concepts.
• Proficiency in Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS, CloudWatch).
• Expertise in messaging systems like IBM MQ and event-driven systems using Kafka.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks like Hibernate.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Maven.
• Solid understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Quartz Scheduler or similar job scheduling frameworks.
• Familiarity with PDF generation libraries and email services.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to mentor and lead a team of developers.
