We’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Wholesale Trade Support Analyst to work collaboratively within the Wholesale Treasury Trade Support team where you will be partnering with the business providing Trade Support, Maintenance, and Controls.

Working in a dedicated team of professionals, you’ll be accountable for undertaking of a suite of administrative tasks and controls aimed at providing an optimal service to the business to ensure that Santander can continue to meet its commitment to Stronger Foundations and ultimately be the easiest way for customers to make their better happen.

The difference you’ll make:

  • Inserting and validating trades in Front Office systems across an array of asset classes including Fixed Income, Derivatives and Equities, this includes verifying trade bookings vs Term Sheets/Trade Confirmations
  • Investigating and resolving trade related queries and provide resolution to issues and respond to queries from key stakeholders such as the counterparties, and the business
  • Performing trade lifecycle management including Expiries, Exercises, Terminations, Unwinds and Drawdowns. Production and analysis of daily reports for all business areas covered within CFO Treasury
  • Ensuring compliance with the internal control environment and that deadlines are met while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Maintaining a good relationship with the Front Office and ensure smooth and efficient business support

What you’ll bring:

  • Proficient analytical skills, able to use MS Excel to rationalise data from several sources to support the Wholesale inventory
  • A good understanding or interest in Financial/Trading Markets

It would also be nice for you to have:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships across the business
  • Relevant Financial qualification or equivalent

This role is based in our London, Triton Square office, and our current expectation is at least 2 days in an office every week.
