What you will do 

The HVACR Sales Representative will be responsible for the management of YORK chillers sales activities within the assigned area, with the objective of maximizing sales in terms of volume, turnover and margin, increasing the commercial penetration and developing the assigned markets.

How you will do it

  • Manages Sales Agents and works with them to ensure they have the full technical and commercial support and promotes sales
  • Develops sales strategies and sets sales targets for individual Sales Agents and for the area
  • Monitors the Sales Agents performances and motivates them to reach targets
  • Targets opportunities within our HVAC sector that translate into profitable growth
  • Develops, communicates, and implements a comprehensive plan to grow the YORK brand across the area
  • Achieves the target for sales in the assigned area
  • Deals directly with major customers within the assigned area
  • Develops long-term customer relationships with contractors, consulting engineers and end-users
  • Understands the customer base needs and works to align them with JCI products and services
  • Seeks for York/Johnson Controls to become the preferred supplier of HVAC equipment of the assigned area
  • Partners with other sales teams to maximize profit generation, influencing on specifications (end-users, consulting engineers) and managing pricing (contractors)
  • Keeps up to date with products and competitors
  • Reports sales figures
  • Grows and updates regularly the pipeline
  • Reports punctually to his manager.

What we look for

  • Previous experience within the HVACR industry with a special focus on chillers applications
  • Sales experience within the chiller market and a proven track record
  • Technical knowledge to degree level or equivalent experience
  • High level of creation of new accounts and opportunities
  • Strong communicator with a proven track record of developing sales within a commercial environment.
  • Excellency in verbal and written communication skills.
