About the Role
• The CS Digital Platform Innovation and Transformation Lead is responsible for driving the digital enablement of Corporate Solutions by translating business, operational, and strategic needs into scalable, efficient, and sustainable digital solutions across Corporate Solutions. The role focuses on improving end-to-end Corporate Solutions operational effectiveness through process redesign, system enhancement, data quality assurance, and integration of enterprise platforms. Working closely with Technology, Operations, and Shared Services Teams.
• As Product Owner and Project Owner for assigned initiatives, the role provides end-to-end business accountability for solution outcomes, from requirements definition and prioritization through delivery, governance, adoption, and benefit realization.
• This role supports Corporate Solutions as a whole, ensuring that operational needs are explicitly included in scope, regardless of whether enhancements are delivered via Compass, COAST, or other enterprise systems of the organization. This role supports fit-for-purpose platforms, streamlined processes, and reliable data. Solutions are aligned to business priorities, operational realities, and AIA governance standards.
- Drive Digital Enablement for Corporate Solutions: Lead the assessment and transformation of manual and legacy processes across Corporate Solutions, including but not limited to CS Sales, CS Operations, into technology-enabled and automated solutions that improve efficiency, scalability, and service quality.
- Align Business and Operational Requirements with Technology Solutions: Partner with CS Distribution Channels, CS Underwriting, Risk and Compliance, Finance, Technology, and other business units within the organization to build and review BRDs, define next steps, and identify the most appropriate systems or platforms to support Corporate Solutions’ end-to-end operational journey (LBAC).
- Identify and Implement Process Improvements Using Technology: Analyze current-state CS processes. Identify and implement process improvements that leverage technology across Corporate Solutions, with the objective of moving away from manual workarounds toward sustainable, system-driven efficiencies.
- Act as Product Owner and Project Manager for Digital and Transformation Initiatives: Own end-to-end business accountability for assigned CS digital and transformation projects by defining project objectives, scope, success criteria, and business outcomes. Serve as the primary business owner and decision authority while also acting as Product Owner by translating business requirements and operational requirements into prioritized backlogs, validating solutions, and supporting Agile delivery. Ensure projects are aligned with Corporate Solutions priorities, approved governance standards, and enterprise architecture direction.
- Oversee project governance, progress, and benefits realization: Monitor project progress against approved plans, milestones, and budgets; track delivery risks and interdependencies; and ensure expected operational and business benefits are realized post-implementation across Corporate Solutions, including Operations.
- Enhance and Integrate Digital Platforms: Work with IT teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to enhance existing systems and identify integration opportunities between CS platforms and other enterprise assets to improve end-to-end processing and data flow.
- Ensure Data Quality and Governance: Perform regular reviews of system reports, dashboards, and extracts provided by Technology teams to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity, and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
- Manage Stakeholders and Governance: Engage and coordinate with CS leadership, Operations, Technology teams, and Group stakeholders, participating in steering committees and governance discussions to ensure alignment, transparency, and timely decision-making.
- Support Change Enablement and Solution Adoption: Support change management and adoption activities by coordinating user engagement, training support, and feedback mechanisms to ensure effective rollout and sustained use of digital solutions across Corporate Solutions.
- Support Team Capability Development and Knowledge Sharing: Mentor and support junior members of the CS Digital Transformation and Project Management team to promote consistent delivery standards, capability growth, and knowledge sharing.
- Perform other related duties as assigned: Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor to support Corporate Solutions operational and transformation objectives.
- Delivery and Execution. On-time and on-scope deliver of Corporate Solutions digital and transformation initiatives in accordance with approved project plans, governance standards, and business priorities. Effective prioritization and sequencing of CS digital initiatives aligned with the CS digital roadmap
- Operational and Business Impact. Measurable improvement in operational efficiency across Corporate Solutions, including reduction of manual processing, workarounds, and overtime-dependent activities. Improved end-to-end process effectiveness through system enhancements and platform integration.
- Financial Discipline. Delivery of digital initiatives within approved budgets and resource allocations. Demonstrated contribution to cost efficiency, productivity gains, or avoidance of non-sustainable operational costs where applicable.
- Data Quality and Controls. Accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data outputs from CS digital platforms, as validated through reports, dashboards, and controls in partnership with Technology and Risk and Compliance. Reduction in data-related issues, rework, or operational exceptions attributable to system or process gaps.
- Governance and Stakeholder Management. Stakeholder satisfaction across Corporate Solutions business units, Operations, Technology, and Management. Effective risk, issue, and dependency management with timely escalation and resolution through appropriate governance forums.
- Adoption and Sustainability. Successful adoption and sustained usage of implemented digital solutions across Corporate Solutions. Post-implementation realization of intended business and operational benefits.
