Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads and guides the Oncology/Hematology medical team in Turkey in the development and timely execution of practice-changing Local Medical Affairs Plans (MAP) in partnership with key stakeholders.
  • Deeply understands LOC needs and success measures. Ensures that the medical team has extensive partnership and collaboration with the cross-functional LOC teams to understand the landscape, market value drivers, unmet medical needs and timelines for deliverables required for their success.
  • Ensures that the Oncology medical team partners across the internal ecosystem and with external partners to deliver medical plans that prioritize external impact above all else on time and on budget to optimize the positive impact for patients.
  • Drives excellence in scientific engagement by his/ her team by ensuring that they are developing a strong collaborative network of external experts (HCPs, patients, payors and regulators) to be engaged in advice-seeking activities and appropriate initiatives to advance clinical care and patient outcomes. 
  • Ensures his/her team has a robust knowledge of the relevant and emerging clinical evidence supporting their training. 
  • Partner with the regional team and cross-functional teams in the LOC seamlessly to provide strategic direction oversight and ensure that the medical team creates an impact with what they deliver.
  • Ensure appropriate medical governance oversight, including oversight of the management of product-related issues with potential impact on patient safety and of risk assessment and mitigation plan associated with deliverables/strategies.
  • Leads the development of deep subject matter expertise on the product and therapy area for self and the team, as well as the ability to drive proactive strategic and operational planning.
  • Drives a culture and delivery mindset of future-ready innovation, which supports faster and more specific solutions for patients.

  • Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medical
  • Hematology / Oncology experience in the last 3 years
  • Solid grounding in Oncology/Hematology clinical, medical, and pharmaceutical sciences
  • Ability to rapidly assimilate specific and detailed knowledge in oncology
  • Capability to be the single point of accountability for the entire oncology portfolio in the LOC
