As a Junior Insurance Software Analyst, you’ll play an important role in supporting system migration, conversion, and modernization projects for leading insurance clients. You’ll work closely with senior team members to gather requirements, assist with testing, and help ensure smooth transitions from legacy platforms to modern solutions. This role is designed for professionals who are early in their careers and eager to grow their expertise in insurance systems and technology.
Assist in gathering and documenting business and system requirements for insurance software migration and modernization projects.
Support data mapping activities and help prepare conversion documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including senior analysts, architects, and developers—to support solution delivery.
Contribute to test case creation and execution, validating system functionality and data accuracy.
Assist in analyzing insurance product configurations (e.g., Traditional Life, Universal Life) under senior guidance.
Learn and develop skills in insurance policy administration systems, with a focus on wmA (Wealth Management Accelerator) and related platforms.
Provide project support, such as meeting notes, status tracking, and documentation.
1–3 years of experience in IT, business analysis, or related insurance/financial services roles.
Basic knowledge of life insurance products (Traditional Life, Universal Life) preferred.
Familiarity with software systems or databases; prior exposure to mainframe or insurance platforms is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Eagerness to learn insurance technology platforms such as wmA and contribute to modernization initiatives.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Coursework or internship experience in insurance, IT systems, or data analysis.
Familiarity with testing methodologies or tools.
Collaborative team setting with mentorship from senior professionals.
Flexibility to support activities across different time zones when needed.
Hybrid work with in-office presence required at your nearest DXC office.
