Your role at Baxter

 

The Sr. Analyst Revenue and AR is responsible for revenue accounting processes and requires understanding of sophisticated accounting matters, problem-solving skills and tight-knit collaboration with other finance and non-finance teams.

What you'll be doing

 

  • We prepare manual journals relating to the revenue accounting process such as sales cut-off with adequate supporting documentation

  • Complete assigned related account reconciliations in Blackline per established deadlines

  • Respond to queries from Business and Controllership in a timely manner

  • Provide audit support as needed

  • Support regional and global reporting requirements such as monthly Balance Sheet & P&L Flux analysis

  • Support monthly/quarterly/annual close processes

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with other finance and non-finance teams, as well as external providers, to maintain and update shared processes, tools, and reporting activities

  • Ensure adherence of processes to the company’s policies and procedures, internal and external audit requirements and local rules and regulations; support strengthening of financial processes and controls

  • Support automation opportunities around account reconciliation and manual journal entries

  • Maintain focus on continuous operational improvement opportunities

 

What you'll bring

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or part qualified ACCA/CIMA/CPA

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.

  • Confirmed experience in a multinational environment and/or audit

  • Excellent knowledge of US GAAP

  • English B2+ minimum

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, respectful, flexible and “can do” mind-set

  • Strong reporting tools including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Experience in JDE, Blackline, Alteryx and W-Desk is an advantage

  • Additional hours at critical times (e.g., month-end) may be required. Also, and on an outstanding basis, the role may require work on public holidays
