Position: Sales Representative

Pay Range: $90,000- $110,000

Responsibilities:

  • Promote Englert Inc. metal roof systems throughout the architectural, roofing consultant, and construction specifier communities.
  • Increase Englert Inc. presence within written specification for metal roofing and wall panels, by identifying the firms in a specific given territory who continually specify metal roofing for projects.
  • Coordinate and give AIA/CEU lunch box presentations using Englert AIA registered programs.
  • Work together with the roofing/wall panel salespeople in your designated territory, to help their top accounts land projects that are out for bid or help them “flip” the specifications so Englert products can be used on the project.
  • Process leads received from the Englert Quoting and Estimating Groups for projects where Englert is not specified to gain prior approval from the architect by addendum.
  • Review metal roofing and wall panel specs received from the Englert Quoting and Estimating Group for compliance of Englert products, for our customers’ use in bidding the project.
  • Contribute to the Englert Technical/Weathertightness Warranty Group by performing jobsite inspections when traveling to a given area.
  • Contribute to the Englert Technical/Weathertightness Warranty Group by answering technical questions received from architects, customers, and homeowners.
  • Actively participate in at least one industry organization within your given territory, e.g., AIA, CSI, IIBEC, or LEED.

Qualifications:

  • Requires BS/BA degree in Architecture, Design, Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
  • Preferred active membership in professional industry organizations (such as IIDA, ASID, AIA, CSI)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent customer relationship skills Strong leadership and organizational skills

Experience:

  • Two or more years of sales or industry experience within the Architectural and Design community
  • An established customer base of architects and designers to call on
  • Previous experience in a technical field with commercial sales experience or customer exposure
  • A minimum of two years of Architectural Sales experience or Project Management experience in an Architectural or Design firm is preferred Competencies:
  • Self-Starter
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (both verbal and written formats) and presentation skills
  • Exercises independent judgment and initiative and possesses excellent analytical skills with a strong technical knowledge base to discuss client needs and make recommendations
  • Computer proficiency, including strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Other industry-related computer skills (CAD, REVIT, Sketch Up, Presentation software, etc.) are a plus
  • Highly organized and able to maintain Project Files including all drawings, correspondence, quotations, and customer communications
