Overview

This position will support the operations with the advisement of the Business Analyst. The primary focus of this role includes but not limited to, maintaining, developing and presenting reports related to labor management, Key Performance Indicators and various customer reporting requirements.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide support as needed to the Business Analyst.

  • Gather daily, weekly, and monthly reports and information from the network sites, verifying accuracy and tracking on time delivery of each.

  • Support Business Analyst in coordinating special projects between the customer and Saddle Creek Personnel.

  • Work within Saddle Creek’s systems - MicroStrategy Business Intelligence tool, Warehouse Management System and Work Order Management System - to extract reports from across the network.

  • Maintain and create Labor Management reporting, analysis, recommendations and other tasks related to labor management.

  • Assist managers in labor management reporting and understanding individual performance.

  • Maintain and assist in creating labor management engineered standards.

  • Additional Duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • Completion of High School Diploma and/or equivalent is required (some College or AA degree preferred)

  • Must have minimum of 6 months experience in an administrative/analytical role

  • Fundamental understanding of general WMS operating systems. Infor system knowledge a plus

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and/or 3rd party logistics preferred.

  • Knowledge of Labor Management standards, systems and methods strongly preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills with a consistent proclivity to accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Power point and Excel required.  

  • Must be able to work autonomously.

  • Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills; must be able to multi-task, problem solve, prioritize and work under pressure.

  • Ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) and present information to senior management, customers, and vendors; ability to influence others.

  • Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods
