As a Senior Advisor, Energy Solutions, you will play a key role in helping commercial customers reduce natural gas use through practical, data‑driven energy conservation solutions. Working independently and collaboratively, you will deliver technical expertise, build trusted customer relationships, and support Enbridge’s energy efficiency programs from concept through implementation. This role exists to drive measurable energy conservation results while supporting customers in making informed, sustainable energy decisions.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver Enbridge’s Energy Conservation programs directly to customers and business partners, meeting or exceeding assigned energy conservation and sales targets.

  • Provide technical guidance and problem‑solving support to Energy Solutions Advisors, Senior Analysts, and Account Managers across the Commercial Sales team.

  • Conduct site walk‑throughs and basic building and thermal system audits to identify and evaluate energy efficiency opportunities.

  • Develop business cases and technical justifications that help customers move forward with conservation projects.

  • Accurately document customer interactions, projects, and forecasts using CRM and DSM tracking systems to support audits and verification processes.

  • Collaborate with internal Enbridge teams to complete applications and ensure projects are implemented safely, accurately, and on time.

  • Build partnerships with contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, and consulting engineers to support project delivery and customer outreach.

  • Represent Enbridge at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows, promoting energy efficiency initiatives.

What You Bring

  • Related university degree preferably in, Mechanical Engineering, or related along with 7+ years of related experience. For candidates who do not possess a university degree, an additional 3-years of related experience is required.

  • Valid Certified Energy Manager (CEM) designation.

  • Experience with energy management, demand side management and sustainability principles.

  • Exceptional understanding of commercial HVAC systems and design.

  • Strong communicator and influencer with superior written and verbal skills, confident public speaking ability, and outstanding capacity to lead and influence without formal authority.

  • Highly determined and results‑oriented professional who operates independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams and maintaining a strong customer focus.

  • Exceptional relationship builder and problem solver with strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to lead multiple priorities through effective time and project management.

Preferred:

  • Membership in Professional Engineers of Ontario or similar professional organization.

  • Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP).

For Ontario Applicants only: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00/year.

Working Conditions:

This role is a mix of office based (40%), and field based (60%) and requires travelling mainly within Ontario including occasional overnight. Valid driver’s license with a responsible driving record is needed.
