Sr. Manager, Program Management
As Sr. Manager - Program Management reporting to the Head of Platform Product Development, you'll play a critical role in orchestrating execution for the Capital Access Platforms (CAP) division’s unified data platform initiative. You will directly manage a team of Product Owners, manage program delivery, and ensure alignment across product leadership, PMO and cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities
Lead program execution and plan for Nasdaq's unified data platform product development, managing milestones, dependencies and delivery calendar.
Establish and maintain program governance, including steering forums, executive reporting, risk and issue management, change control, and decision logs.
Partner with the Head of Product Development to align strategy, track progress, drive backlog prioritization, and ensure delivery of critical program objectives.
Directly manage and develop a team of 5 Product Owners, providing coaching, prioritization guidance, and accountability to drive results.
Program manage the full product lifecycle, from strategic planning and roadmap development through launch, iteration, and continuous improvement.
Program Leadership & Governance
Own the program plan, milestones, and delivery cadence for the unified data platform initiative.
Establish program governance frameworks, program reporting, risk management processes and meeting cadences.
Drive alignment across multiple product teams and stakeholders.
Team Management
Directly manage five Product Owners (POs) responsible for backlog execution across platform components.
Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and prioritization support for POs.
Partner with Product Managers to ensure strategic priorities translate into actionable and prioritized initiatives and epics.
Strategic Alignment and Collaboration
Present program status, metrics, and outcomes to executive leadership.
Support the Head of Product in stakeholder updates through clear, actionable reporting and metrics.
Manage relationships with key stakeholders across PMO, Engineering, Product, Operations and cross-functional partners.
Partner with PMO leadership to align on delivery frameworks, tooling, and process standards for Product Owners and Product Managers.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
7+ years of program or project management experience in technology or financial services.
Proven track record managing large-scale, multi-team programs in an Agile or Scrum environment.
Strong ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across global, matrixed teams.
Clear communicator with excellent organizational and prioritization skills, including executive presence and experience presenting to senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, SAFe, Scrum Master).
Experience in capital markets, fintech, or related industries.
Familiarity with cloud-native data platforms and modern data stack technologies (e.g., Spark, Databricks). Understanding of modern data engineering fundamentals, including pipelines, ETL/ELT, data operations, and data lifecycle management.
This position will be located in Atlanta, Georgia and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
