A Day in the Life

Can you ensure excellent service levels, pro-activeness while carefully balancing these interests with efficiency, costs, quality and compliance objectives? Reporting directly to the Manager Event & Learning Management Spain, you will organize events for the operating units within our commercial organization.

To do so, you will work closely with all local and international teams to provide high quality standard support services to our customers and Medtronic sales force by demonstrating a good understanding of Medtronic therapies, businesses, processes and policies with the ability to monitor information flows as well as resolving standard issues. This is a hybrid role based in Madrid.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Coordinating and managing logistics for Customers and Faculties in close collaboration with Medtronic colleges and Suppliers for Medtronic events. On-site support when needed
  • Managing pre-event, during event and post-event task
  • Managing the sponsorships, educational grants, educational programs, Fellowships, stands for Third Party events
  • Ensuring compliance and timings to Medtronic Business Conduct Standards 
  • Using IT events and other tools, handling program expenditures, reconciling program invoices and compliance report

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • University degree
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in event management or any similar activities in a multicultural environment
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, both speaking and writing
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple and changing priorities while maintaining strong focus on execution and results
  • Problem-solving skills and diplomacy
  • Customer-first approach and quality oriented
  • Ability to be a team player and to work independently with good negotiation skills
  • Excellent in anticipation and planning, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and agility to change
  • Comfortable with IT programs

Pay range / Rango salarial / Intervalo salarial /Fascia retributiva / Tranche de salaire / Gehaltsband / Salaribereik:  Spain: 33,280.00 EUR - 49,920.00 EUR | 

 

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
