Job Summary

Prepares, maintains, and reconciles accounts payables/receivables/claims data or other accounting information into the appropriate system.  Processes deposits, premium and ACH transactions.  Works with internal and external customers to ensure posting accuracy.

Essential Functions

  • Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.  Time management and organizational skills.  Self-directed.  Ability to make quality, independent decisions.  Analytical and strong problem-solving skills.  Ability to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines, high volumes and multiple interruptions.  Ability to maintain the strictest levels of confidentiality. Ability to listen to others. Competency in the use of a variety of computer hardware and software systems.

  • Works with vendors and all levels of internal staff to resolve invoice and coding problems, pay invoices within the organization's terms, apply receivable balances according to corporate policies, and handle special requests as needed.

  • Prepares, enters, maintains, and reconciles data in the applicable accounting system.

  • Maintains paper and electronic files in an organized manner to ensure invoice and/or receivable documentation is maintained (includes optical scanning/data retention programs, if applicable).

  • Adapts to changing internal and external environment pertaining to accounts payable/receivable/accounting.

  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships within the organization.

  • Completes required continuous training and education, including department specific requirements.

  • Performs daily activities in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Demonstrates teamwork and integrity in all work-related activities.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • May work in banking platforms, perform account research, and process accounts for collections.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School or equivalent

Preferred

  • Associate's Degree

  • Facets experience

  • Proficient with Excel

  • Salesforce experience

  • OnBase experience
