About the Role:
Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for IT and facilities management?
We are seeking an experienced Operations & Facilities Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing IT and facility maintenance, daily operations, and resource allocation to ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment. You will ensure networks run smoothly while leading a team and optimising processes. This position involves managing vendors, implementing new technologies, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement to support our business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the strategic direction and daily management of IT operations, ensuring optimal performance of systems, networks, and infrastructure.
Drive the development and implementation of policies, processes, and best practices to enhance IT efficiency and productivity across the organization.
Lead relationships with technology vendors and service providers, and manage the IT budget to align with organisational objectives and financial goals.
Evaluate, select, and implement innovative technologies to improve IT infrastructure and advance business initiatives.
Provide executive leadership to the IT team, fostering a high-performance culture while ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
Ensure IT governance and compliance by maintaining policies and procedures that adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Stay at the forefront of industry trends, assessing system performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimise IT operations.
Role Requirements:
Proven experience as an IT Operations Manager and/or Facilities Manager with IT operations included, with expertise in system installation, configuration, and analysis.
Strong knowledge of networks, cloud computing, IT infrastructure, and hardware.
Demonstrated leadership skills to manage and motivate a team of IT professionals.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, senior management, and stakeholders.
Technical proficiency in IT systems and troubleshooting to ensure optimal operations.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong problem-solving aptitude.
Oversee setup and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networking, servers, and communication systems for operational efficiency.
Stay current with technology trends and implement smart technologies and IT tools to enhance facility operations and efficiency.
Responsible for tracking and implementing core system updates.
