Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Customer Relations Specialist (Experienced or Senior) to join the Government Operations team at Boeing’s Global Headquarters in Arlington, VA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning and Coordination: Plan and coordinate customer visits and events onsite at Boeing’s Global Headquarters, managing all logistics, branding, protocol, and business courtesies.
  • Team Organization and Support: Organize and assist a multi-disciplined team (e.g., facilities, communications, IT, security, transportation) to develop, plan, and execute high-quality, high-impact events for external stakeholders and internal employees.
  • Boeing Collaboration Center Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of the Boeing Collaboration Center, an experiential customer engagement space, including maintaining the calendar and supporting logistics for customer engagements.
  • Project Support: Assist the Director, Strategic Engagements, and Site Operations during the development, design, and construction phases of the Boeing Collaboration Center's planned refresh.
  • Employee Engagement Events: Collaborate with Boeing Global Engagement to develop and execute employee-engagement events that support the return to office.
  • External Engagement Management: Manage select external engagements and assets, including event sponsorships and hospitality suites at sporting/entertainment venues.
  • Administrative Management: Handle all administrative aspects of events and stakeholder engagements, including expense reports, invoices, vendor relationships, and marketing and guest communications.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience in customer relations
  • Experience planning, organizing, facilitating and/or executing large scale meetings and events, ideally in high-end hospitality, non-profit, and/or political campaigns
  • Experience collaborating with senior management and/or executive leadership
  • Experience multi-tasking and working in a team environment
  • Willingness to occasionally travel domestically and work flexible hours, including overtime and occasional weekends for planned events
  • Experience building strong business relationships and collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with international and government officials including protocol knowledge
  • Strong verbal and writing skills, high attention to detail and follow-up, and excellent organizational skills
  • Capability to deliver high-quality results in a dynamic environment and to actively anticipate and respond to future needs
  • Exceptional work ethic and proven track record of high integrity and personal initiative

Typical Education/Experience:

Experienced (Level 3)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Senior (Level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range Experienced (Level 3): $85,000 - $115,000

Summary pay range Senior (Level 4): $106,250 - $143,750
