Responsible for supporting a team of seasoned professionals that close acceptance gaps for large and complex merchants that currently do not accept Discover. Responsible for leading, developing, and specializing in top tier merchant relationships and debit activities. Mentors team members to enable merchants that do not accept the company's network. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management. Some travel is required.
Responsibilities
Develops, supports, and strategizes solutions to drive effectiveness and efficiency.
Develop, track and successfully complete critical projects for the team and regularly report progress to the team supervisor.
Accurate expense management and forecasting. Support team events; Support team training.
Contribute to the strategic enhancement of Salesforce as a key tool for team. Serve as key team liaison for Salesforce efforts.
Develop and deliver impactful executive level reporting, scorecards and presentations.
Hold regular one on one meetings with supported team members to discuss approaches to help close acceptance gaps, manage blockers, etc.
Manages merchant debit communications.
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
H.S. Diploma or GED
4+ years of experience in financial services, payments, sales, communications, marketing, project management, or related field
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, Marketing, Psychology, Finance, or related field
6+ years of experience in financial services, payments, sales, communications, marketing, project management, or related field
Must have a positive and proactive approach to solving difficult problems.
Must be able to communicate concisely and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong presentation skills (Executive presence) for in person presentations
Strong background in formal project management.
Strong skills in making enhancements to Salesforce tool.

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $75,500.00 to $127,900.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.Benefits:
