FS Controls and Operations, Global Finance Systems and Control, Global Finance Systems team is responsible for:
Management of the various applications on behalf of Group Procurement and Group Property.
Providing support to the Group Costing & Profitability Reporting teams
The provision of finance operations, payroll related reconciliation and interface controls services on behalf of various Business Units in the Bank.
Managing the delivery and operation of Group wide Accounting Mapping Engine (FDM), ERP, EPM platforms.
Development/migration of the Groups reconciliations onto Accurate and provide Level 1 support for existing reconciliations
Do work that matters
Identify strategic opportunities, build business cases and stakeholder support and implementing governance of data and reporting tools as required
Leveraging strategic data initiatives such as Aptitude sub-ledger, Oracle EPM suites, Peoplesoft ERP and other CBA group-wide data assets
Reduce complexity and bespoke customisations, ensuring platform stays “evergreen” and is ready for any strategic future upgrade plans
Build out relationships with group finance and BU finance teams (EM +GM level) to better understand use cases for EPM stack “voice of customer”
Contribute to FINREP - Simplify & rationalise excel templates, and leverage Narrative Reporting for month-end flash reporting
Re-imagine ERP modules suites dashboard capabilities
Be able to contribute to design and planning sessions involving upstream (ERP and sub-ledger) and downstream finance use cases

Be Finance Systems specialist lead for ERP squad under PACE model in a manner consistent with CBA's Values and People Capabilities.
Leverage and manage development capability within Finance Systems, underpinned by a strong team with appropriate cover and deep SME knowledge
We’re interested in hearing from people leaders who possess
Deep understanding of financial control, data quality and systems with experience developing strategies for finance, performance management and reporting transformation
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship building, including vendor and implementation partners
Strong negotiation and influencing skills that enable constructive working relationships across the Group with a focus on enterprise-wide outcomes.
Strong analytical skills, business acumen and knowledge of performance drivers across financial services business units and support functions.
A curious and humble mindset with the ability to stay abreast of technology trends and changes and to seek industry-wide perspectives on Enterprise Performance best practice.
