What You Will Do

  • Responsible for managing the development and implementation of Warehouse projects, improvements focusing on automated solutions.
  • Employee is in charge of managing project timelines, budgets and deliverables.
  • Analyse and map running procedures in order to find weaknesses, improvement by retraining or reengineering of the processes, define corrective actions, implement new actions, give feedback, plan in advance, involve other departments, communicate on business needs, responsibly act with and toward colleagues, her/his reports, leaders.
  • Follow and improve material flow related reports, analyse the discrepencies, propose corrections and improvement actions.
  • Identify and manage the necessary projects based on stock indicators (KPI).
  • Simplify the processes inline with Harman’s Lean requirements.
  • Initiate and work out cost savings actions.
  • Perform IT business integrator tasks for the material flow.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • We welcome applications from recent graduates, provided they hold a relevant degree (e.g. Logistics, Logistics Engineering, Technical Management, Business Informatics BSc).
  • If not a recent graduate, a minimum of 3 years of logistics experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio at an advanced level).
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Technical mindset and openness to learning and applying the latest warehouse technologies.
  • Ability to work independently.

Bonus Points if You Have

  • AutoCAD
  • Experience in automation with a logistics focus
  • SAP knowledge
  • German language proficiency
