The Finance Team includes Finance Business Partnership, Accounting, Finance Operations, Financial Systems, Internal Audit, Tax, Treasury, and Investor Relations teams. Together, the team partners with leadership to provide insights, information, and guidance to make strategic and operational decisions, inform investors about our business model and progress, and ensure the company is financially healthy and consistently meeting our reporting obligations.

 

We’re looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team! Working within the Business Partner Finance team, you’ll be a key business partner to Business teams driving actionable insights/analytics and decision-making that results in achieving financial objectives of the business. 

 

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with our Engineering, Product, Content, Partnerships and Workplace Experiences teams to support decision-making processes and provide insights that translate into recommendations.

  • Collaborate with other Finance and Accounting teams to help develop insightful forecasting and reporting and drive actionable insights for key leaders.

  • Partner with Business teams to enhance visibility into business operations, improve reporting fidelity, recommend investment decisions, provide insights and deliver value.

  • Build financial models to optimize investments, as well as to support the forecasts for the business areas that you directly support. 

  • Develop and streamline FP&A processes to mitigate risk and find value within the business

  • Develop analysis/tools to track business results for Engineering, Product, Content,, Partnerships and Workplace Experiences. Lead and develop analysts on the team to support business partners.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience partnering with senior executives on their business operations, financial planning, and forecasting preferably in the Technology industry.

  • Proven track record of thriving in a fast-paced environment and  juggling competing priorities under short timelines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and establish strong relationships

  • Expert-level financial modeling skills, building input driven models that translate buisness problems into financial analysis. Experience in operating financial tools  (Hyperion, Anaplan, etc)

  • Solid understanding of GAAP accounting, enabling an ability to understand and forecast intricacies within the income statement

  • Expertise with Microsoft Excel/Powerpoint and Google Docs/Sheets 

  • SQL experience preferred

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering or or a related quantitative filed

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience or 3 years with an MBA or equivalent degree

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in tech or digital media industries

  • Very strong analytical skills. Experience with Looker, SQL, and Tableau is highly valued.

  • MBA or other Master’s degree in a quantitative field

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $126,000-$189,000 annually.


 

Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $120,000-$179,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $107,000-$161,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
