General Description:
The Developer is tasked to deliver automation to drive successful adoption. In addition to building automations, the Developer will also own deliverables across the automation journey to ensure automation use cases and scenarios are properly built and documented. Will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing automation solutions using RPA tools and new technologies approved by the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design and automation development: Collaborate with Business Analyst, Solution Architect, and Business Stakeholders to gather automation requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Understands all the stages of an Automation journey and describes the role of the RPA Developer in each stage.
- Develop and implement process automation solutions using UiPath and new technologies approved by the company.
- Work closely with Process Leads in understanding the functional requirements, and exceptions and provide solution design & architecture.
- Support to Testing: Support to Auditor / Tester in performing end-to-end testing in different environments (Development, Staging and Production).
- Support to Auditor / Tester in conducting thorough testing of automation solutions to ensure they meet quality standards, are error free, and perform reliably in various scenarios.
- Support to Auditor / Tester in rigorously executing automation testing, including unit testing, user acceptance testing, and bug fixes. Responsible for peer code assessments and knowledge transfer.
- Support to Auditor / Tester in debugging and troubleshooting automation failures, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
- Deployment: Deploy automation solutions into production environments following established process.
- Collaborate with Support Engineer (If needed) as an escalation point for all technical and architectural issues and assist in problem identification/error resolution process with different technical domains.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including process design documents, solution architecture diagrams and deployment guides.
- Ensure up to date lifecycle automation development within Automation Hub.
- Document processes and libraries built.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure that automation solutions comply with regulatory requirements, data privacy laws, and security standards.
- Adhere to company development and version control standards.
- Works with Automation Cloud Administrator to provision automation infrastructure, including provisioning of new robots and associating them to different environments.
- Supports escalation requests regarding Infrastructure/Security by working with relevant teams.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about emerging trends, best practices, and advancements in automation technologies.
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- UiPath Automation Developer Professional – Desirable
Previous Work Experience
- 3+ years software development experience.
- 2-4 years RPA Experience, UiPath preferred.
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Language: Spanish & English intermediate to advanced, Portuguese Desirable.
- Must have:
- Familiarization with the Least Privileged Access principle.
- Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle as used with RPA.
- Quick technical learner – able to pick up sets of responsibilities quickly
- Experience with cross-functional teams
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Nice to have:
- Working knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Expertise with the UiPath Automation Cloud suite
- Experience with cross-regional teams
