Position Summary
Senior Manager for Professional Education international operations, student services, and recruitment. In collaboration with various academic support units, advances the Professional Education’s multiple international goals. Oversees effective delivery of international operations for academic programs, recruiting, retention and quality assurance.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Leads Professional Education international operations including recruitment, support services, and related academic operations. Provides hands-on leadership to ensure compliance with internal policies and international requirements.
- Designs and oversees the programs and workshops for Professional Education related to international recruitment, programs, and support services. Continuously improves processes, technology, management practices, and metrics for reporting.
- Facilitates programming that fosters an intercultural atmosphere of care and compassion for all professional education students. Oversees the continued development and management of international student engagement and student success for professional education programs, creates conversation and awareness around support for international professional education students.
- Seeks guidance from the McKelvey Assistant Dean for International Relations on questions regarding international programming, partnerships or resources.
- Assists the Executive Director in strategic matters related to international operations. This includes implementation plans to achieve Professional Education strategic goals and, as appropriate and as needed, participating in business development initiatives, activities and meetings. Makes recommendations to enhance systems/processes/programs.
- Seeks guidance from OISS on resources needed to navigate immigration compliance. Monitors university-wide policies that may impact the success of international initiatives and proactively contribute expertise. Will work with institutional and agency partnerships.
- Analyzes and measures processes to ensure delivery against targets. Ensures the Executive Director is briefed on all important issues and outcomes.
- Manages the Professional Education quality assurance function. As the unit quality assurance manager, instills a mindset of continuous improvement, oversees unit processes including enrollment management, program quality, and reports on key performance metrics.

Salary Range
$75,200.00 - $128,800.00 / Annually
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
