The Textile Management Consultant will partner with customers on process improvement, service and cost savings initiatives to provide value beyond product price, including development and implementation of service improvement/cost reduction action plans. 

The Textile Software Management Consultant will consult with healthcare facilities in Florida to identify opportunities to reduce total costs in the area of linen management and to optimize laundry and distribution operations.  Upon identifying these opportunities, the consultant will create action plans to realize these savings.  Account maintenance and cost reduction validation will be conducted on a scheduled or as needed basis.       

Key Responsibilities Include:   

  • Analyze and identify systemic problems with linen materials management handling at healthcare facilities.               

  • Interpret, develop, and quantify action plans. and develop best demonstrated practice action steps. 

  • Educate users on the ControlTex software application packages to operate the program, along with related hardware and proper linen utilization.    

  • Implement, monitor and document operational and service metrics on designated accounts.  

  • Work and consult with clients independently or in conjunction with our sales consultant

  • Prepare presentations for a broad range of customers or potential customers.

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, decision sciences, engineering or related field

  • Previous experience with account management, consulting or process analysis

  • Healthcare laundry or acute care textile supply chain management experience preferred

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Strong critical thinking skills to identify potential courses of action and potential outcomes

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office

  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
