What You Will Do:

Federal Civilian Agencies consultants support Federal government clients to better meet their mission.  We work directly with our clients to develop innovative solutions that help improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their organization. 

As a consultant, you will work in a team to create and present quality deliverables that support essential project workstreams.  You will gather and analyze data, identify gaps and trends, and make recommendations related to baseline performance and structure, as well as established best practices and benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities May Include:

  • Work collaboratively in a team environment to solve client challenges
  • Participate and lead client meetings and clearly document progress, next steps, responsibilities, action items, and support development and sequencing of future discussions and briefings
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to draw conclusions (including the use of advanced data analytics where appropriate)
  • Work with a team to develop solutions to solve organizational challenges and optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of operations
  • Develop work products that clearly synthesize information into recommendations for client improvements
  • Communicate solutions and new strategies to clients through reports and presentations
  • Support data collection activities to gain insight into an organization’s structure, processes, policies, technology, and culture. Data collection activities may include: Research of client source documentation and industry leading practices; Client interviews including development of audience-specific interview protocols; Facilitation of client work groups and information sessions


What You Will Need:

  • 0 - 1 years of experience
  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution (already obtained degree).
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust clearance.

  • Commutable distance with ability to work out of Arlington, VA or at a client site in the DC Metro area as this is a hybrid role. If located outside of area, must be willing to relocate without financial assistance.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Internship or prior experience working with a federal agency
  • Degree/Majors Preferred: Accounting, Business, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, or a social science discipline with proven academic success
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive and independent work style
  • Ability to assume ownership of significant portions of tasks while collaborating with a close-knit team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong conceptual, as well as quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Strong interest in business development and commitment to supporting our clients with additional services and effort
