Position Role Type:

Onsite

 

In this position, you will report to the Quality Control Supervisors and will work on streamlining the FAI, FPI, Receiving inspection process. Along with supporting the 5S initiatives in both Quality control areas.

What You Will Do

  • FAI Ballooning

  • Standard work creation

  • 5S optimization – Digital and Physical workspace

  • NADCAP document review and improvement

  • FPI – FAI mapping

  • Net-Inspect data transfer and review

  • Create Standard Work documents.

  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Events.

  • All other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications You Must Have

  •  Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.

  • Able to work different shifts.

  • Successful candidates must meet all requirements under ITAR and CGD as well as be eligible to work in Canada

Qualifications We Prefer  

  • Proficiency in 3D CAD/CAM software such as CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, CREO, NX.

  • Strong understanding of Continuous Improvement and Lean Techniques and applications.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in all MS Office applications.

  • Previous ERP experience welcomed (SAP preferred).

  •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
