Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Position Summary… As a Senior Marketing Manager, Lifecycle Marketing at Walmart Connect, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and health of the unmanaged and Emerging advertiser business. You will help shape and execute lifecycle marketing programs that support advertiser activation, onboarding to success, optimization, retention, growth, and reactivation—while ensuring the full advertiser journey works cohesively end to end. This role combines customer insight, lifecycle execution, performance management, and cross-functional leadership. You will act as a business owner within Growth Marketing—tracking overall performance, identifying opportunities through quantitative and qualitative insights, and clearly communicating progress, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership. This role requires strong judgment, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to move fluidly between analysis, execution, and influence.
What you’ll do…
  • Own and evolve lifecycle marketing programs that support advertiser activation, onboarding, success, retention, growth, and reactivation, in partnership with lifecycle stage owners.
  • Track and manage the overall health of the unmanaged advertiser business, ensuring a clear, consistent view of performance across all lifecycle stages.
  • Lead and contribute to Weekly and Monthly Business Reviews (WBRs/MBRs), synthesizing insights across lifecycle stages and clearly articulating progress, risks, opportunities, and next steps to senior leadership.
  • Develop deep customer understanding by analyzing advertiser behavior, performance trends, and lifecycle data, and by incorporating qualitative insights such as seller feedback, VOC, and partner inputs.
  • Identify and prioritize growth opportunities across the advertiser journey, translating insights into clear hypotheses, experiments, and program improvements.
  • Design and execute lifecycle marketing initiatives that help advertisers launch correctly, build confidence early, improve performance, and grow sustainably.
  • Drive marketing efficiency and scale by leveraging automation, AI-supported decisioning, and always-on lifecycle systems that reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
  • Apply data and insights to action, continuously testing, learning, and iterating to improve advertiser outcomes and business performance.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Product Marketing, Marketplace, Analytics, and Operations to align lifecycle programs with broader business objectives and influence shared priorities.
  • Contribute to a culture of experimentation, learning, and accountability, helping scale what works and sunset what does not.
What we’re looking for
  • 6–8+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, growth marketing, or related roles, ideally in B2B, marketplace, SaaS, or digital advertising environments.
  • Proven experience owning complex programs or parts of a business, with accountability for outcomes—not just execution.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience defining KPIs, tracking performance, and translating data into insights and recommendations.
  • Experience working with CRM and marketing automation platforms(Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar).
  • Comfort operating in a matrixed, cross-functional environment, influencing without direct authority.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present clearly and confidently to senior leadership.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-moving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in retail media, digital marketplaces, or advertising platforms.
  • Familiarity with AI-supported marketing, automation, and experimentation frameworks.
  • Experience helping build or evolve new tools, processes, or operating models.
  • MBA or advanced degree
