Job Summary:

The Healthcare Program Assistant/Instructor supports the Program Manager in coordinating and delivering healthcare training programs. This role includes participant intake, training logistics, data tracking, and instructional support. The Assistant/Instructor will help ensure smooth operations across multiple cohorts and contribute to student success through administrative and instructional duties.

Job Description

Essential Functions

  • Assist with intake interviews, enrollment, and interest assessments.
  • Maintain training calendars, records, and outcome reports.
  • Support classroom setup, materials preparation, and skill labs.
  • Track participant progress and assist with certification documentation.
  • Coordinate externship logistics and employer communication.
  • Provide tutoring and digital literacy support as needed.
  • Help organize community outreach and recruitment events.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and grant requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Skills

Education

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.

Experience

  • 2+ years in training coordination, healthcare support, or workforce development.
  • Valid Driver's License, Proof of Insurance and must be able to travel using their personal vehicle to the assigned locations. (Mileage reimbursement)

Knowledge / Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time -management skills,
  • Basic knowledge of healthcare terminology and clinical skills.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and manage confidential student information
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Detail- oriented data entry skills.
