Job Description:

The primary responsibilities of the Staff Accountant for Touring is to support the touring segment and assist in all financial aspects. The Staff Accountant (Touring) will work closely with the Chicago Finance team to assist in budgeting, show costing of events, and ensuring the accuracy of tour reporting. 

Primary Job Responsibilities: 

  • Coding of costs related to shows in the U.S/Canada
  • Record and review ticket revenue through venue settlements
  • Review venue costs and obtain all settlement costs
  • Track actuals to CMN for touring shows per the agreed terms
  • Reconcile Tour Float Cash
  • May Assist to business plans/offers for potential artist we are looking to secure for future tours in U.S/Canada
  • Complete other duties as assigned by Director of Finance & Accounting

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting or at least 2+ years of related experience (required)
  • 100% in-person 
  • Bilingual verbal and written Spanish (required) 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically a high understanding of Excel  
  • Advanced level of knowledge with general financial accounting and cost accounting
  • General understanding of best practice accounting principles
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple projects, and organize tasks 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and a confident/assertive demeanor 

Travel:

  • Available 5%-10% for work related travel with or without advance notice as required to meet client needs (if applicable)
