A Day in the Life

As a Channel Data Analyst responsible for inventory and sales-out data collection and analysis, you will connect with Medtronic distributors across a wide range of international markets in EurAsia region to ensure timely provision of critical business insights. Within your role, you will also analyze submitted data to ensure high accuracy, and your will connect with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any data quality issues.

The role is a part of Strategic Partnerships & Patient Solutions (SPPS) Centre of Excellence, where you will collaborate with other analysts in various EurAsia markets. For this position, you will be expected to be located in Prague (Czech Republic).

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Collect and upload inventory & sales-out data from the distributors within the assigned geography
• Ensure timely data submission
• Perform inventory & sales-out data validation and quality checks 
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and the distributors to resolve any potential data quality issues
• Recommend process improvements, including additional data validations, to optimize performance and data accuracy.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
• 2-5 years of related experience in data analysis, business analysis or related field
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
• Solid communication skills and willingness to work in a multicultural environment
• Fluency in English.

Experience with SQL, data preparation and transformation tools (e.g., Knime, Tableau Prep, Power Query) or other advanced data analytics tools will be a plus but is not mandatory.
Knowledge of other languages (especially Russian, Arabic, French or Turkish) will be a plus but is not mandatory.
