Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily care for hospitalized patients, including feeding, walking, and monitoring

  • Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, treatment areas, and hospital equipment

  • Observe patients for changes in behavior or condition and communicate concerns to the veterinary team

  • Assist with safe animal handling and restraint as directed

  • Maintain hospital cleanliness and follow established safety and sanitation protocols

  • Support veterinarians and veterinary technicians with routine tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Animal care experience is helpful but not required

  • Comfortable working with animals of varying sizes, breeds, and temperaments

  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting up to ~50 lbs

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team

  • Willingness to learn and take direction in a fast-paced environment

Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
