We are offering a unique opportunity for a Manager with a background in accounting and/or financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to join our growing Corporate Performance Management (CPM) Consulting Practice. This position is a client-facing role to lead system implementations from a people, process, and technology viewpoint.

This consultant will lead execution of end-to-end implementations from system design through implementation and support. In addition to technical skills required, the role includes oversight/development of staff, project management, and effective communication to internal leadership and client points of contact.

The successful candidate is an out of the box thinker who loves to solve problems in creative ways. As a leader at RSM, it is expected that this role will mentor and educate junior staff and collaborate cross-functionally with other service offerings. Overall, it is integral that candidates are eager to learn their client’s business and work alongside clients as a first choice advisor.

*This position can be based remotely near one of our primary RSM offices
 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead client delivery activities within assigned accounts and take ownership of overall project success

  • Conduct training and design walk-through/user acceptance testing sessions

  • Manage staffing on projects to ensure proper balance of work across levels

  • Develop and present design documents based on their requirement to clients and manage the design of their EPM implementation.

  • Manage project scope, tasks, deadlines, budgets and work with project team through EPM implementations

  • Invest in talent through development opportunities and engaging in constructive feedback conversations

  • Network internally to promote the practice and our service offerings to others in the firm
     

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in Accounting or Finance

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in the following financial applications/services: PBCS, Hyperion or other EPM Applications such as Prophix, Adaptive Insights, Host Analytics, or Cognos

  • Strong conceptual, analytic and problem solving skills

  • Strong project and time management skills

  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Able and willing to travel up to 20% of the time

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $78,600 - $148,500

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
