We have the following opportunities for 2025: 

  • Spring Internship – Audit, Tax, and Small Business (minimum 20 hours per week)

  • Summer Internship – Audit, Tax and Small Business (minimum 32 hours per week)

Responsibilities

Specific Service Line Responsibilities:

  • Audit - Combination of in-office and field work conducted at client locations, to include audit testing, preparation of confirmations and work papers, benefit plan, pension plan, asset and financial statement audits
  • Tax - Various assignments consisting of organizing and uploading tax documents, reconciling tax data input and preparing business and individual tax returns, and projects relating to depreciation and fixed assets
  • Small Business - Various assignments consisting of preparing tax returns both current and extended, entering and reviewing journal entries, preparing and reviewing financial statements, assisting with 1099 and W-2 preparation and other general accounting tasks as needed

Education, Experience and Certifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Desire to pursue the CPA designation and a career in professional services/public accounting and
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills required
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
     

Essential Functions

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position as needed
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office and at client offices to access file cabinets, office machinery etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner and exchange information with internal and external actors as needed
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours and weekends as needed
  • Ability to travel to local and non-local clients as needed, overnight travel may be required

Salary Range:
