Are you looking to grow your career in healthcare?  Boys Town National Research Hospital (BTNRH) is searching for a Director of Quality and Support Services to provide leadership and oversight in the identification, adoption, implementation, and achievement of quality outcomes and compliance with accreditory/regulatory requirements for healthcare services.

Full-Time: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Location: East Campus, will travel to all BTNRH locations

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Oversees organization (hospital, clinic, and PRTF) compliance with applicable standards and requirements of The Joint Commission, CMS, State and other applicable accreditory/regulatory agencies.
  • Provides direction and oversight in the identification, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of appropriate quality standards in collaboration with the administrative and clinical leaders of BTNRH.
  • Utilizes the BTNRH Performance Improvement model and plan to guide performance improvements efforts.
  • Advocates for care that best serves the patient and families.
  • Oversees the development of policies and procedures that guide, support, and ensure that all clinical services are provided in accordance with standards established through Joint Commission standards and state and federal regulations.
  • Oversees the patient satisfaction survey program to monitor, trend and work with leadership on potential process improvements.
  • Supports and provides guidance and feedback on customer service processes, trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Oversees the incident reporting system to monitor, trend and determine potential process improvements. Discusses trends with the BTNRH Risk Manager.
  • Oversees the BTNRH Employee Health and Infection Prevention programs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree, in nursing or healthcare related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospital or clinic setting required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality improvement, clinical outcomes management or standards/regulation activities required.
