Responsibilities / Duties
- Site Focal Point and Subject Matter Expert for IATF-16949 will ensure that all site and remote support employees clearly understand the requirements of the IATF-16949 automotive standard as well as the applicable customer specific requirement (CSRs).
- Maintain Required Site Documentation for IATF-16949 Compliance and ensure that Document Owners are actively managing and maintaining documentation:
- Documentation Includes APQP Core Tools, PPAP Documentation, Site Manual(s), Audit Procedures and Documentation, Work Process Maps/Diagrams
- Complete Regular Management Reviews with Top Leadership and Site Functional Teams and Ensure that Management Review Outputs are properly addressed.
- Continually build knowledge and understanding of current and future IATF-16949 and CSR requirements; including awareness of all Sanctioned Interpretations (SIs) and other supplemental content, websites and publications.
- Train Internal Auditors on IATF-16949 auditing and maintain internal audit program/schedule.
- Actively work with Remote Support Functions (Sales, Customer Service, Procurement, R&D) to ensure that requirements are understood, actively measured/monitored, and corrective actions are taken when needed.
- Host Annual Registrar IATF-16949 Certification Audits, including preparation; scheduling; training so employees are prepared; and follow-up on corrective action requests to ensure effective resolutions of all identified non-conformities and opportunities for improvement.
- Working with Site Leaders and Process Owners to ensure effective Scorecards/Metrics are maintained, monitored and acted upon.
- Regularly Monitor Automotive Customer Web Portals and Scorecards, and ensure relevant data is shared within the organization so that the necessary action planning is undertaken as needed.
- Supplier Monitoring – including measurement and assessment of performance, monitoring suppliers’ QMS certification status, and conducting audits/assessments as appropriate.
- Regularly network and interact with Business Quality Team, Key Customer Contacts, Commercial Teams and R&D organizations to ensure awareness of IATF-16949 requirements and that improvement efforts are effectively supported across these teams.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree plus quality, manufacturing or related experience required.
