Summary of Job Duties:

The Advanced Practice Nurse will assist the collaborative physician with clinic patients, organizing visits and performing clinic evaluation and management, ordering imaging and testing, answering calls and MyChart messages on daily basis for Stroke Neurology for evaluation and treatment, of the Stroke/General Neurology patient population. The APRN will be responsible for managing care of outpatients independently or with the physician. APRN must have a high level of expertise to perform assessments/diagnosis/treatment of actual/potential problems of patients.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with a Masters in Nursing
• Valid license as a Registered Nurse by the state of Arkansas; APRN License
• 2 years of direct RN Nursing Care experience in a clinical environment
• BLS certification
