Responsible for leading transformation initiatives and driving change. Responsible for developing and overseeing plans and programs to improve the organization's operating efficiency, with a key focus on using technology to analyse, understand, and improve the organization's operating processes.

We are in the journey to develop our level of maturity of different functions within Nutreco, seeking improvements and developing our operational/strategic maturity and competency. This role is critical in leading the development of tools, processes, framework and blueprints to be able to successfully and sustainably deliver our agenda of Global Transformation ambition.

This position works in a global scope of its area of expertise, such as Operations and Sales and also it is an available profile to any other areas within Nutreco where a global transformation initiative is in place.

Job Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Transformational Change Management

Lead the detailed design and delivery of substantial projects within a transformational change program, ensuring integration with other disciplines/functions; build management commitment and use structured change management methodologies to drive acceptance of change and to embed desired culture and behaviors.

Functional Strategy Formation

Lead the development and implementation of strategy for a significant area of responsibility, anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities, and ensuring integration with wider corporate strategy.

Strategy Formation and Implementation

Develop the strategy for a significant area of responsibility such as a function, anticipating complex issues, challenges and opportunities. Ensure the strategy is successfully

implemented and meets medium-term business needs.

Information and Business Advice

Provide authoritative specialist advice to the leadership team of a small or nationally based organization or subsidiary to guide the implementation of policy and the design and implementation of projects and change initiatives.

Leadership and Direction

Communicate the function's strategy and its relationship to the organization's mission, vision and values; clarify the actions needed to implement it within the area of responsibility; motivate people to commit to these and to doing extraordinary things to achieve the organization's business goals.

Stakeholder Engagement

Identify and manage stakeholders up to top management level, finding out their needs/issues/concerns and reacting to these by leading and coordinating the development of

stakeholder engagement plans to support the communication of business information and decisions.

Project Management

Manage the delivery of a major part of the organization's project management program. Take personal responsibility for a small number of business-critical projects

Business Planning

Develop and gain agreement to annual business plans for a function or substantial business area, ensuring alignment with strategy; quantify business outcomes (i.e. revenues or

other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)); detail expense and headcount budgets; and develop business cases for key projects, ensuring cross-functional integration

Budgeting

Take responsibility for setting and managing area budgets so they align with organizational strategy.

Performance Management

Manage and report on the performance of the function / business area; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports and hold them accountable for achieving

these; take appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of annual business objectives.

Organization Structure

Define the detailed organization structure for a business area to align with corporate principles, define the relationship between elements of the organization, and

define the responsibilities of senior managers, to enable the organization to achieve its business objectives

Organizational Capability Building

Identify the capabilities needed to meet the current and emerging business needs of a significant business area.

Evaluate current capabilities, identify gaps, and prioritize development activities. Motivate others to develop their capabilities and fulfill their personal potential. Build capabilities elsewhere in the organization through mentoring and other informal methods.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's Degree or Equivalent Level
  • Knowledge and experience of Production and Global complex Supply Chain processes
  • Understands the production processes of multiple products.
  • Knowledge and experience of transportation and warehousing systems, material management and ERP systems
  • Knowledge and experience of chemical production processes (organic acids and feed additives)
  • Experience in Quality and Health Safety Environment systems
  • Extensive management experience and a proven track record in global Operations and Supply Chain
  • Good understanding of business operations
  • Internationally experienced
  • Large experience with manufacturing processes and operations
  • Strong people management skills/visionary leadership
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Cultural awareness
  • Languages: fluent English, both verbal and written
  • Wide and deep experience providing expert competence (Over 10 years to 15 year)
  • Managerial Experience - Experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short / medium timescales within the overall policy framework. (Over 6 years to 10 years)

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  • Assigned projects are finished in time and in budget with achievement of objectives and deliverables
  • Quality of support and advice to Project Owners and Steering Committee
  • Adherence to project management process, methods and tools
