Sr. Principal Product Manager – Avast One

Location: Prague

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Manager to join our Cybersecurity business line. As a key player within our product organization, you will lead our Avast One platform and integration of every Avast product into this platform to allow our customers a seamless exposure to the breadth of our portfolio thereby driving increased acquisition, higher engagement & retention. Your role will involve building the product strategy, managing the roadmap, defining and prioritizing the requirement backlog, deliver successful business outcomes while maintaining the high customer satisfaction. You will be working in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders, spread across different locations and time zones and will need to gain alignment for successful prioritization and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy: Conduct thorough research of the market, competition, customer needs and assess our internal strengths and weaknesses to build the winning product strategy.
  • Roadmap Management: Develop and maintain the roadmap for the mobile security products across our freemium brands, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Data Analysis: Define, monitor, and assess the KPIs to provide actionable insights and projections for the product to satisfy the underlying business goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with other product managers, Sales and Go-to-Market teams, design, engineering, support, PMO, and other groups to ensure successful alignment, prioritization, and risk mitigation.
  • Storytelling & Requirements Definition: Clearly articulate the story behind your projects and define a set of requirements. Justify prioritization decisions and communicate them effectively both in writing and verbally.
  • Business Case Development: Create compelling business cases by evaluating various factors and providing a comprehensive analysis of potential impacts on the product and underlying business.

What You’ll Need to be Successful in this Role:

The candidate must be a self-starter and self-motivator, with strong understanding of the business landscape, Avast portfolio and the ecosystem. The candidate must be an excellent communicator who can build and maintain relations on various levels and can present to senior leaders. The ideal candidate should also be skilled in research, ideation and thinking outside the box.

Success will be measured by the development and delivery of roadmap items for defined products to meet strategy and business goals, their ROI assessment and actual performance results.

  • Experience in preparing and presenting content to various audiences and levels of leaderships.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
  • Programming Knowledge: Basic understanding of programming languages or development environments can be a plus (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
  • Tools Knowledge: Miro, Productboard, Figma, Jira, Confluence, PowerBI, Qlikview,  Marketing tools such as firebase, Singular, Google Analytics etc.
  • Product Management experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a Product management role in B2C or B2B SaaS, preferably in cybersecurity space
