Summary:
As a Data Platform Engineer, a typical day involves contributing to the development and refinement of the data platform architecture, ensuring that all components align with the overall blueprint. This role requires close collaboration with various architects to maintain seamless integration across systems and data models. The position demands active engagement in planning sessions, reviewing design proposals, and coordinating efforts to support a unified data environment that meets organizational needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the evaluation and implementation of new data platform technologies to enhance system capabilities.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to foster continuous learning and development.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align platform development with business objectives and compliance requirements.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Strong expertise in data modeling and database design principles related to cloud data platforms.
- Experience in optimizing data storage and query performance within large-scale data environments.
- Familiarity with data integration techniques and tools to support seamless data flow across systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex data platform issues and implement effective solutions.
- Knowledge of security best practices and data governance in cloud-based data warehouses.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
