As an ERP Analyst, you will drive and assist with managing the business as usual (BAU) support and project work in collaboration with all business units and the D365 ERP Product team to support the implementation, development, maintenance, and ongoing improvements of D365 Finance & Operations to maximise adoption of RAC’s ERP solution.

What will you be doing?

  • Leading Support Management: Leading the management of support requests to ensure responses meet SLAs and ITSM processes are consistently followed.
  • Assisting in Change Management: Assisting in change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new processes or solution changes, aligning with ongoing business needs.
  • Liaising and Analysing: Liaising with business users to understand and analyse issues, managing integration failures, and collaborating with technical resources to develop solutions.
  • Monitoring and Managing Systems: Monitoring and managing scheduled batch processes and user roles/permissions within Access Management platforms like Azure and D365.
  • Driving Business Engagement: Driving engagement across all business units to facilitate the implementation of new or improved processes and solutions, ensuring alignment with standard product capabilities.
  • Researching and Prototyping Solutions: Researching design issues, building fast prototypes for validation, and designing functional requirements to enhance business processes and system integration.
  • Enhancing User Support and Training: Leading design sessions, creating process flows, work instructions, test scripts, and conducting end-user training to support ERP business process improvements and solution adoption.

What are we looking for in you?

  • Qualifications and Experience: Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in Finance or ERP-related disciplines are mandatory. Experience in a collaborative ERP support and project delivery environment is essential.
  • ERP and Dynamics 365 Expertise: Proven experience in developing functional and technical specifications for Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, including design, enhancements, and integrations.
  • Core Accounting Knowledge: In-depth, hands-on knowledge of core accounting principles and processes with a system-oriented approach.
  • ERP Configuration and Implementation: Ability to work closely with the Architect and ERP Lead Analyst on ERP system configurations, including creating new legal entities and configuring base entity setups.
  • Requirement Analysis and Simplification: Proficient in analysing functional requirements, simplifying legacy processes, and understanding financial and master data.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Capable of delivering product showcases and presentations, understanding business requirements, and translating them into application process requirements. Experience working with the D365 product team and technical resources.
  • Development Methodologies and Lifecycle: Knowledge of business process re-engineering, AGILE development methodologies, and understanding of software development lifecycle activities and Microsoft’s Lifecycle Services (LCS).
  • Availability and Travel: Availability to meet operational working hours and reasonable overtime, with travel between RAC sites and occasional regional locations as required.
