JOB DESCRIPTION:

Main Responsibilities:

The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for processing orders via phone or mail, email, fax, or EDI, as well as handling and resolving customer inquiries in a professional and expedient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing orders (include normal order, consignment order) via phone or mail, email, fax, or EDI, as well as handling and resolving customer inquiries in a professional and expedient manner.
  • Closely coordinate with territory sales managers to meet customer's requirements and support monthly & quarterly sales target accomplishment.
  • Handle customer queries, product complaints, recalls and exchange.
  • Prepare shipping documents (invoice/ packing list/ others) as required for any stock sharing or return to plant.
  • Execute daily operations including products receiving, storage, inventory management according to Abbott's SOPs
  • Coordinate multi-functional issue resolution to troubleshoot errors between SAP/WMS interface/ systems and physical products.
  • Review on the short UBD, inactive Inventory, phase-in/phase-out, communicating with business partners to minimize the negative cost impact.
  • Perform inventory counts including consignment count and warehouse count.
  • Follow up GDP SOP of Customer Service functions to apply for GDP regulations certification covering order management.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • A diploma or equivalent of college graduated.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in similar roles
  • Demonstrates excellent telephone and interpersonal communications skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office, including Excel and MS Word with high numerical accuracy
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP system is preferred.
  • Experience in/or appreciation for the medical device industry is preferred
  • Able to work independently and as part of team
  • Able to organize and prioritize work
  • Handle and process customer complaints in timely manner
