Boeing Korea Engineering and Technology Center (BKETC) is seeking a senior Electronic & Electrical Systems Design Engineer based in Seoul, South Korea.

In this position, you will work with customers to develop and document electronic and electrical system requirements. Analyzes and translates requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications. Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements. Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.

Position Responsibilities

As a senior engineer, make a meaningful contribution to the Australian E-7 Wedgetail program, with specific focus on Training Devices and related Ground equipment. Use your domain experience to develop designs, and review the work of others. Contribute to project planning and reporting. Communicate and collaborate as part of a global team.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electronic, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering or related field
• High level communication and negotiation skills with a strong focus on building successful relationships with a broad range of both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

• Experience in Rational DOORs
• Experience in Requirements analysis / design
• Experience in Verification procedure development
• Experience in Requirements tractability and selloff
• Experience in Integration and fault finding of avionics databus
• Experience in Integration of Distributed Simulators
• Experience in Development of Mission System Hardware Production Acceptance Tests to validate hardware prior to fitment to the aircraft
• Experience in Integration of engineering software builds onto integration lab and then onto the aircraft
• Experience in Conduct of smoke tests on engineering builds
• Experience in 2D Autocad
• Experience in Electrical Harness Design
• Experience in CATIA V5 3D and 2D drafting
• Experience in 3D Electrical wire installation (CATIA V5)
• Ability to travel internationally

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in E-7 systems and training devices
• Experience in VMWARE deployment and integration
• Experience in Automated Linux OS deployments
• Experience in Windows / Unix Security Hardening
