This position is responsible for developing and managing operations program for Levi’s® Retail Division within the Operations function. Operations program includes development and implementation of policies and procedures; development and management of operational expense budgets; development and implementation of labor model; support of development and implementation of field incentive program; support of loss prevention program; management of new store openings, remodels and closings; management of store maintenance program; management of external vendor relationships; management of cross- functional partnerships at corporate and field; support of corporate/operational initiatives (e.g., Distribution, IT, marketing); development and implementation of operational training program and approach to share best practices and drive operational improvements in stores.
- Leadership and Management
- Lead and supervise a team of District Managers, Trainers, Store Managers and their staff to ensure effective operations
- Provide training, guidance and performance evaluations to enhance team productivity and professional development
- Foster strong, collaborative working relationships with the franchise partners and with key cross-functional partners at corporate and in the field.
- Lead the Annual Get Together of O&O Store Leads and Staff
- Sales
- Build the Annual Sell-through Plan in close collaboration with key stakeholders
- Ensures achievement of the Sell-through Plan through the implementation of strategic initiatives
- Lead new store openings, renovations and closures
- Operational Oversight
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness across all retail stores
- Monitor and analyze retail key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic initiatives
- Conduct quarterly operational review with franchise partners’ operations teams
- Lead all POS-related discussions, developments and implementation
- Manage external vendor relationships (e.g., POS, Retail Ops Support, Store Supplies).
- Schedule at least 4x a month store visit
- Inventory and Merchandising
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishments.
- Develop and implement loss prevention programs
- Work with the Key Account Managers and Brand Environment Team to plan and execute product displays and promotional strategies
- Customer Experience
- Ensure a consistent, excellent customer experience across all retail stores
- Pass the bi-annual Mystery Shopping Program
- Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally
- Financial Management
- Manage and optimize the budget for retail operations, including but not limited to POS-related costs, traffic counter, store music, Yoobic, training costs, labor costs and other operational expenses
- Analyze sales and financial data of Owned and Operated Stores to drive profitability and growth
- Compliance and Safety
- Ensure all retail stores comply with company standards and policies, industry regulations and safety standards
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain operational integrity
Requirements:
- Degree in Business or Marketing with 10 years of significant experience in Sales and Retail Operations Management, of which at least 5 years in a Leadership role
