Job Summary

The Sales Performance Management (Salesforce) team is hiring a Salesforce developer to align with the Plan to Pay value stream. You’ll be part of a talented team in accelerating our journey as we transform our Sales planning ecosystem (to Salesforce lightning platform) to support Red Hat’s future growth. You’ll get plenty opportunities to work with cross-functional teams & expand knowledge in Salesforce ecosystem, data analytics platform & allied tools & technologies
 

Primary Job Responsibilities: 

• Design and implement custom objects, fields, and relationships to meet specific business needs. 

• Ensure data integrity and maintainability of custom objects and their related data. 

• Build reusable LWC components using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS to create interactive and dynamic user interfaces

• Integrate LWC components into Salesforce pages and applications

• Write Apex code to implement business logic, triggers, and custom actions

• Optimize Apex code for performance and scalability

• Debug and troubleshoot Apex code issues

Required Job Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or a closely related field

• 8+ years of relevant work experience

• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, including Sales Cloud, Sales Planning, ETM and other relevant modules.

• Experience with Salesforce development tools and technologies, including Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC)

• Experience with Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) and Salesforce Object Search Language (SOSL)

• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

• Proficiency in using one or more IDE tools namely VSCode, Eclipse

• Experience with Apex programming language

• Experience with devops ci/cd, github

• Experience with JIRA & understanding of Agile development methodologies

• Knowledge of Salesforce best practices and coding standards

• Strong analytical & problem solving skills

Nice to have:

• Salesforce Credentials 

• Knowledge of SnowFlake Data Analytics platform

• Python DBT
