Role Overview

We are seeking a Security Operations Manager for our new Mountain View office. This individual will oversee physical security operations, manage office functions, and serve as the front-line leader of the Physical Security Team. This role is integral in creating a safe and efficient work environment and will report directly to the Director of Physical Security and work closely with the Mountain View Site Director.

Responsibilities

Security Management

  • Oversee & manage the workforce, ensuring all guards are equipped to carry out their duties effectively.
  • Oversee the contract cleaning service ensuring all duties are performed and supplies are restocked
  • Assign guards to posts and tasks, including escorting guests and vendors.
  • Review guard logs and reports for accuracy and action items.
  • Conduct and lead monthly safety inspections (Fire, AED/Trauma, Evacuation Chair).
  • Serve as the evacuation leader, providing training and leading emergency responses as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain CCTV systems and other physical security technology.
  • Stand guard post when necessary and remain vigilant while multitasking.
  • Inform the Director of Physical Security regularly on events and activities.

Office and Facility Management

  • Maintain office and security inventory, ordering supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Ensure kitchens and communal areas are clean, organized, and stocked with supplies, including coffee machines and snacks.
  • Organize and support office meetings, activities, and employee engagement events.
  • Complete daily site walks to identify and address facilities or cleaning concerns.
  • Collaborate with property management, building engineers and cleaning services to resolve building-related issues.
  • Lift and move up to 50 lbs for tasks such as rearranging furniture or setting up office equipment.
  • Manage executive car services for company needs.
  • Coordinate meeting / conference spaces both onsite for various departments.

Administrative Tasks

  • Track and address tasks and issues through the Jira ticketing system.
  • Manage vendor relationships and invoices.
  • Prepare weekly reports summarizing updates and activities for leadership.
  • Order company lunches, snacks, and employee swag.
  • Monitor contractor and employee badge entry into the office.

Other Duties

  • Participate in weekly meetings with leadership and teams.
  • Be willing to travel for occasional company events.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support both the physical security program and office operations.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in security leadership/supervisory, military, or law enforcement.
  • 2+ years of office management.
  • Security Guard Certification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Okta, and Atlassian products.
  • Familiarity with Apple computers.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • No criminal record.
  • Availability to be on-site 5 days a week.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid (or ability to obtain qualification within 6 months of hire date)

The annual base salary listed does include a company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity and benefits which will be determined based on experience, skills, education, relevant training, geographic location and role.
