BASIC FUNCTION:
The Tax Accountant I position is responsible for assisting with the income tax function of Drury Hotels and assisting the Tax Manager with various duties in the sales tax area of Drury Hotels. The position requires the preparation of annual income tax returns. This person will also be responsible for assisting in audit management and monitoring tax compliance. This position requires a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality at all times to promote the Drury culture with co-workers, vendors & customers.

Requires ability to relate to the public and co-workers in a warm, friendly manner contributing to a hospitable environment. Requires ability to give attention to detail and to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently. Requires a thorough knowledge of Company policies and procedures as they relate to job responsibilities.
