Cyber Security - Deputy General Manager (Mid-level Management) for AMIEO Region

Location: India

Grade: EVP-5 (DGM)

The AMIO information Security Deputy General Manager is a critical member of the AMIEO Information & Cyber Security team.

This is a midlevel managerial position and is to act as an interface between the regional Security teams and the work of the technology-focused analysts, engineers and administrators in the AMIO IT organization. They must be able to translate the IT-risk requirements and constraints of the business into technical control requirements and specifications, as well as develop metrics for ongoing performance measurement and reporting. They will coordinate the AMIO IT organization's technical activities to implement and manage security infrastructure, and to provide regular status and service-level reports to management.

  • Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to ensure the security of information systems.

  • Compliance and Governance: Ensuring adherence to global and regional regulatory requirements and internal policies.

  • Incident Response: Leading Incident Response within the AMIO region liasing with the regional IR teams.

  • Threat Intelligence: Staying updated (via the regional Threat Intelligence service) on the latest threats and vulnerabilities to proactively protect the organization.

  • Security Architecture: Designing and maintaining a robust security infrastructure that aligns with organizational goals and standards.

  • Collaboration and Communication: Working effectively with regional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure cohesive security measures.
